Terence J. Gallagher
Terence J. Gallagher is a Partner of the
Firm and is resident in the Stamford,
Connecticut office. Mr. Gallagher is
admitted to practice law in the state courts
of Connecticut and New York, as well as in
the U.S. District Courts for the District of
Connecticut and the Southern and Eastern
Districts of New York, the Second Circuit
Court of Appeals, and the United States
Supreme Court. His memberships include the
Connecticut Bar Association and the Federal
Bar Council.
Mr. Gallagher has extensive experience in
Connecticut and New York courts in the
defense of class and derivative actions for
corporations, investment banks, directors
and officers. Mr. Gallagher’s practice
includes litigation at the trial and
appellate levels of complex business,
securities, and corporate matters involving
federal and state securities laws, common
law fraud and negligent misrepresentation,
breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of
contract.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gallagher
served as counsel to a regional firm in
Stamford, Connecticut and as senior
associate at a large international law firm.
He earned his B.S. degree in Economics from
the Wharton School, his B.A. degree from the
University of Pennsylvania, his M.S. degree
in Economics from Pace University, and his
J.D. degree from the University of Southern
