Louis W. Bauman
Louis W. Bauman received a Bachelor of
Arts degree from Brown University and his
LLB from Cornell Law School. He was admitted
to the New York State Bar in December 1956.
He is Of Counsel to the Firm.
From 1970 to 1981, Mr. Bauman was
associated with Dreyer and Traub, a
Manhattan law firm that specialized in
commercial real estate, where he represented
numerous office building and shopping center
developers, owners and managers, primarily
in the area of leasing. Thereafter, he
served as General Counsel and Vice President
to DelVal Financial Corp., a public REIT,
Kenbee Management Inc., a real estate
syndication and management company, and
Laribee Wire Manufacturing Co., Inc., and
all related companies from 1981 to 1992.
From 1992 to 1996, he was in-house counsel
at Cappelli Associates, a major Westchester
real estate developer, and counsel to
DelBello Donellan and Weingarten, LLP in
White Plains. He has a general practice with
specialization in commercial leasing, zoning
and the sale, acquisition, financing and
refinancing of commercial and residential
real estate. Mr. Bauman served as Chairman
of the Town of Eastchester Zoning Board of
Appeals from 1985-2001, and is a member of
the School Board of Hawthorne Cedar Knolls
Union Free School District from 1980 to the
present (President from 1986 to 2001).
Additionally, he is an honorary member of
the advisory Board of the Maxwell Institute,
a division of St. Vincent’s
Hospital-Westchester, and served as a
Trustee of the Jewish Board of Family and
Children’s Services, Inc., a mental health
and social service agency from 1980 through
2002. He is a member of the Eastchester Bar
Association. |
