Clifford I. Bass

Clifford I. Bass, a Partner of the Firm, specializes in defending tort litigation and representing individuals and carriers in insurance coverage disputes. He is an experienced and aggressive litigator who has handled cases involving premises liability, products liability, professional liability construction accidents, automobile accidents and insurance coverage, and he has prepared briefs and successfully argued before the New York State Court of Appeals and multiple Appellate Divisions. He has, as well, lectured before members of the insurance industry and Bar, and has prepared summaries of New York’s Labor Law and New York Practice that have been used by lawyers and carriers alike.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Bass was a Partner with Thurm & Heller and its successor, Heller, Jacobs & Kamlet, until the firm ceased its operations; thereafter, he was Special Counsel to the firm of Fishman & Callahan. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Bass graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University and received his law degree from Albany Law School of Union University.
